Double Fatal Motorcycle Accident Closes 134 Freeway In Glendale

GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — A double fatal accident closed several lanes of the 134 Freeway for seven hours before opening early Tuesday morning.

According the authorities, officers noticed a motorcycle speeding and tried to pull the driver over around 9 p.m.

The driver took off and was traveling at more than 100 mph when it crashed into a van in the westbound lanes of the 134, just east of the 2 Freeway.

The driver and passengers were thrown from the bike and died at the scene, the California Highway Patrol said.

The 134 Freeway was fully reopened around 4:30 a.m.
