Dog Nabbed During Home Burglary Reunited With Owner

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com)  —  A dog that was stolen during a residential robbery has been returned to his owner.

On Friday evening, KCAL9 reported about Savvy, a missing 10-year-old Sheltie who had been stolen from Melissa Henning's Culver City home.

The dog was stolen along with her property but she made an emotional plea for the return of the dog.

A person who was watching news reports realized the dog they purchased earlier in the day looked like a match for Savvy.

The dog is microchipped and officials determined the purchased dog was a match.

Savvy suffers from epilepsy and is prone to seizures.
