Dodgers' Yasiel Puig Reinstated From 15-Day DL

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Outfielder Yasiel Puig was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list by the Dodgers Tuesday afternoon after sustaining a strained left hamstring.

The organization optioned right-handed pitcher Carlos Frias to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

During Puig's five game rehab stint with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, he went 5-for-12 (.417 avg.) with a home run, three walks, one stolen base, and two RBI.

This season, the outfielder currently holds a .237 batting avg., with five long balls, 20 RBI in 53 games.
