Dodgers' Yasiel Puig Is 26 Pounds Overweight; Kemp(Ankle) Still Limited

GLENDALE, Ariz. (CBSLA.com) - Apparently Yasiel Puig has spent his off season eating too many Dodger Dogs.

The young left fielder checked in to camp at 251 pounds, 26 more than his weight last year.

"We don't feel it's going to be a problem, but we're paying attention to it, put it that way," Mattingly told ESPN.

The Dodgers also placed Puig on limited throwing program at spring training camp after over-throwing his arm on June 13.

As for Matt Kemp (ankle), Mattingly says there is no timetable for his return.

Kemp will take another MRI next week to check the status of his rehabilitation.

Although he can hit and throw, Kemp is sitting out any running-related drills.
