Dodgers Transfer Carl Crawford To 60-Day Disabled List

DENVER (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have transferred outfielder Carl Crawford to the 60-day disabled list because of a lingering strained oblique injury.

In addition, the Dodgers optioned right-hander Matt West to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday and selected the contract of left-hander David Huff from Oklahoma City.

Huff is making his second appearance with the Dodgers this season. He made a spot start on April 14 against Seattle, giving up four runs in four innings.

Crawford went on the 15-day DL on April 28. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Crawford is "getting better, but he hasn't started swinging or doing any baseball (activities). It's been over a month."
