Dodgers Trade For RHP Bud Norris

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms with the Atlanta Braves to acquire RHP Bud Norris.

The boys in blue also received outfielder Dian Toscanao, a player to be named later, and cash consideration in exchange for minor league pitchers Philip Pfeifer and Caleb Dirks.

Norris appeared in 22 games this season with the Braves, of which he started ten and recorded a 3-7 record with a 4.22 ERA and 60 strikeouts.

Ian Thomas has been designated for assignment in order to make room on the 40-man roster for Norris.
