Dodgers Sign Ex-Angel Chone Figgins To Minor League Deal

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Dodgers have signed infielder Chone Figgins to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

The 36-year-old last played in the majors in 2012 with Seattle.

Figgins has a .277 career batting average with 35 home runs and 402 RBI in 11 seasons with the Angels and Mariners. He was an All-Star in 2009 in Anaheim. He has played second base, third base, shortstop and in the outfield during his career.
