Dodgers C Yasmani Grandal To Start Season On DL

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Dodgers starting catcher Yasmani Grandal will start the 2016 season on the disabled list.

Grandal has an injured forearm and is eyeing a April 12th return for the Dodgers' home opener.

Manager Dave Roberts says he is being cautious with Grandal, and hopes he can stay healthy for the entire season after recovering from this forearm injury.

Dave Roberts said Yasmani Grandal played in AZ today "but I think right now we're looking for him to be ready for home opener" on April 12
