Officials Say Tickets To LAoki Concert In Downtown LA Now Sold Out

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — DJ Steve Aoki stopped by KCAL9 Friday to talk about his free concert being held in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend.

To celebrate the release of his new album "Neon Future II," Aoki -- who is a Grammy-nominated and international producer -- partnered with Mayor Eric Garcetti to create "LAoki," a free concert powered by Scion.

The event will shut down Broadway, between 4th and 6th streets, on Saturday to give fans the opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime concert.

Tickets sold out in less than two hours, with more than 8,000 tickets claimed, officials explained.

Anyone without a ticket will be turned away from the event.

The album features cameos from Linkin Park, Snoop Lion, Rivers Cuomo, NERVO, Matthew Koma, and Moxie.
