Disneyland Kicks Off 24-Hour Celebration For 60th Anniversary

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A 24-hour event celebrating Disneyland's 60th anniversary kicked off Friday morning.

The Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration started at 6 a.m. and will conclude at 6 a.m. Saturday as the start to the summer travel season.

Guests will enjoy premieres of three new nighttime spectaculars, including the Paint the Night parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks show at Disneyland Park and World of Color - Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney at Disney California Adventure.
