Discovery Cube LA Now Open In Lake View Terrace

LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — A new museum for children is celebrating its grand opening Thursday.

Discovery Cube Los Angeles features 71,000 square feet of bilingual hands-on exhibits, interactive displays and educational programs in Lake View Terrace.

"We're like a theme park for your mind," employee Dan Nasitka said.

Visitors can learn about weather, recycling, sustainable weather, resource efficiency, commerce, sports science and dinosaurs, among other topics.

Discovery Cube LA is located at 11800 Foothill Boulevard and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tickets cost $10; kids under 3 years old are free.

The original Discovery Cube Museum is located in Santa Ana.
