Discovery Channel's First Scripted Mini-Series 'Klondike' To Air Jan. 20

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Actor Johnny Simmons stopped by KCAL9 Friday to tell viewers about Discovery Channel's first scripted mini-series "Klondike".

The show is based on Charlotte Gray's book "Gold Diggers: Striking It Rich in the Klondike", which is about two childhood best friends who flock to the gold rush capital in the untamed Yukon Territory in the 1890s.

Klondike will air three consecutive nights beginning Jan. 20 at 9 p.m.
