Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Breaking Into 2 Homes In Mar Vista

MAR VISTA (CBSLA.com) — Police on Friday arrested a man suspected of breaking into two homes in Mar Vista.

Shortly after 4 a.m., officers were sent to the area of McLaughlin Avenue and Palms Boulevard for report of a home invasion incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities arrested a man at the scene.

A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect broke into an unoccupied home before barricading himself inside a second home.

Detectives are continuing to investigate if there may have been a second suspect involved in the incident.

No injuries were reported.
