Homicide Detectives Canvas Hollywood Hills Neighborhood For Clues In Deadly Shooting

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives continued to canvas a Hollywood Hills neighborhood Monday for clues related to a shooting that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers were sent to 2000 block of Hillcrest Road and Camrose Drive for report of a shooting that just occurred, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he later died. Officers have identified the victim as Henry Estrada.

The suspect has been described as a man who left the area in a white or silver sedan, heading eastbound on Camrose Drive.

The investigation is ongoing as the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
