Deputy-Involved Shooting Under Investigation In Altadena

ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday were investigating a deputy-involved shooting involving a possible burglary suspect.

Deputies received a call just after midnight about a man breaking into cars in the area of El Molino Avenue and Alameda Street in Altadena, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

When they arrived on scene, deputies encountered 18-year-old Marcus McGlothurn of Pasadena and shots were fired.

McGlothurn was not wounded and booked to a local jail on several undisclosed charges. It was unclear if he was armed during the confrontation.
