Deputy-Involved Shooting Reported In East LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A deputy-involved shooting occurred in an East Los Angeles neighborhood Thursday morning.

The shooting was reported just before 10:20 a.m. in the area of Allston Street and Saybrook Avenue, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

There were no reported injuries.

The circumstances of the shooting were unclear. The sheriff's department did not immediately confirm if any arrests had been made. There was no immediate suspect information.
