Deputy Injured In Crash While Responding To Burglary Call

BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy was in stable condition Tuesday after he was injured in a crash while responding to a burglary call.

The accident happened around 11:20 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Somerset and Bellflower boulevards in Bellflower, officials said.

The deputy was responding to the call with his lights and sirens on when his patrol car collided with a sedan and a poll.

The female driver of the sedan suffered unknown injuries in the crash.

No arrests were made.
