Deputies Seek Help In Locating Man Accused Of Attempted Vehicle Burglary

GRAND TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — Deputies sought the public's help Tuesday in locating a 21-year-old man wanted on suspicion of attempted vehicle burglary.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 2:30 a.m. Monday to the 11800 block of Mount Vernon for report of a vehicle burglary in progress.

Deputies explained the victim called and claimed his wife encountered an unknown white man in their vehicle.

When the victim encountered the suspect, later identified as Joshua Art, he fled on foot.

Authorities said the victim proceeded to chase Art into a nearby tree line but lost sight of him.

When deputies arrived, they located Brandon Hill, 27, in possession of burglary tools in the area.

According to deputies, a third suspect, Lindsey Loza, 24, was found in possession of Oxycontin 30-milligram pills, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Loza and Hill were arrested on conspiracy to commit vehicle burglary. Loza was also arrested in possession of illegal narcotics.

Authorities said the the suspect vehicle was also located near the scene.

Deputies were unable to locate Art. At this time, he remains at large. No description has been provided.

The investigation is continuing.
