Man Shot And Killed In El Monte, Shooter Remains At-Large

EL MONTE (CBSLA) — On Sunday, a man was shot and killed in El Monte and the shooter has yet to be caught.

The incident unfolded just after 12:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Gilman Road, according to Deputy Tina Schrader of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

When authorities arrived, they pronounced the victim, an adult male, dead at the scene.

A motive for the shooting was unknown and no suspect information was available.

The incident remains under investigation.
