Deadly Stabbing Investigation Underway In North Hollywood
NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday sought the public's help to locate those responsible for the stabbing death of a 50-year-old man in North Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent just before noon on Saturday to the 5700 block of Fair Avenue for report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man unconscious, suffering from several stab wounds inside the apartment.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
Officers described the victim as an African American man who lived in North Hollywood.
At this time, no suspect description has been provided.
