Man Found Shot To Death In South Gate Parking Lot

SOUTH GATE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Friday investigated a deadly shooting that occurred in South Gate.

Around 1:30 a.m., Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies responded to report of a shooting near a 7-Eleven convenience store located in the 8600 block of Atlantic Boulevard.

Upon their arrival, paramedics pronounced an adult man dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

No suspect description has been provided.

The investigation is ongoing.
