Deadly Shooting Investigation Underway In San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Monday investigated the shooting death of a 37-year-old man in San Bernardino.

Officers responded just before 10 p.m. Sunday to the area of 4th and G streets for report of shots fired.

Upon their arrival, authorities located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound at the Carousel Mall.

Paramedics transported the man to a hospital where he later died. He was later identified as Carl Ingram.

A preliminary investigation revealed a car show was being held in the parking lot where the shooting took place.

Witnesses reported hearing around 15 gunshots fired in the area.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
