Deadly Hit-And-Run Accident Reported In Arleta
ARLETA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a motorcyclist was fatally struck by another vehicle in Arleta early Saturday.
The accident occurred around 3:05 a.. at Devonshire Street south of Arleta Avenue, officials said.
A black and white, 2009 Suzuki, motorcycle was traveling east on Devonshire Street onto southbound Arleta Avenue when it collided with an unknown vehicle.
The cyclist was ejected from the motorcycle.
Police said the driver of the unknown vehicle fled the location in an unknown direction.
The motorcyclist, Steven Joseph Vega, a 29 year- old resident of Sylmar was taken to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
