Big Rig Driver Killed In Crash On Freeway In Paramount
PARAMOUNT (CBSLA.com) — The driver of a big rig was killed Friday morning in a traffic collision that occurred on a freeway in Paramount.
The crash was reported just after 1:30 a.m. on the westbound 105 Freeway transition to the northbound 710 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
Paramedics pronounced the driver dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The transition road was closed to tow the big rig until 4 a.m., authorities said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
