Deadly Crash Forces Closure Of Westbound 60 Freeway In Montebello

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com)  —  The westbound 60 freeway was closed in Montebello after a deadly crash Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. at San Gabriel Boulevard, officials said.

Traffic was backed up for miles while the cause of the crash is being investigated.

At least one person was reported dead in the crash involving a big rig and a sedan.

There was no confirmation of other injuries.
