2 people dead, 2 injured including infant after crash on 60 Freeway in Chino

Two people are dead and two others were injured, including an infant, in a crash on the westbound 60 Freeway in Chino Monday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said they received calls around 2:15 a.m. about a crash on the freeway at Reservoir Street.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert for all lanes that lasted several hours before the freeway reopened.  

Crews from the Chino Valley Fire District responded to the scene and evaluated a total of four patients. Fire responders pronounced two individuals dead at the scene and two others, including an infant, were taken to a local trauma center.

The cause of the crash is unknown. Authorities will continue to investigate the incident.
