Dead Man, 61, Found Bloodied Inside O.C. Motel Room

STANTON (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said the bloodied body of a 61-year-old man was found inside a Stanton motel room Saturday morning.

Orange County sheriff's detectives were investigating the case as a homicide.

Sheriff's deputies were summoned just after 10:15 a.m. to the Chester Inn Motel at 10890 Beach Boulevard, Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

"The victim was bleeding and suffered from numerous traumatic injuries," Hallock said. "Homicide, crime scene and coroner investigators
responded to process and collect evidence from the scene."

The man's name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
