David Quiroz, 48, found safe after being reported missing from Long Beach care facility

A 48-year-old man who was reported missing after walking away from a care facility in Long Beach has been found safe, authorities announced Wednesday.

David Quiroz was last seen at around 12 p.m. on May 6 at the facility located in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The LBPD announced that Quiroz was found in Redlands and has since been reunited with his caretaker. 

No further details were released.
