Cypress Park middle school draws large police response

Florence Nightingale Middle School in Cypress Park drew a large police response on Thursday afternoon, leading to armed officers searching buildings and other areas of the campus.

A call came into the Los Angeles Police Department around 2:27 p.m. about five, possibly armed suspects at the school.

Aerial footage showed officers with guns drawn, combing the campus grounds.

No evidence of any crime or suspects was found, according to the LAPD.
