CSULB Student Suspected Of Sexually Assaulting 2 Women At Fraternity Party

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police searched for a Cal State University, Long Beach student Friday who is suspected of sexually assaulting two women at a Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity party.

On Tuesday, officers were sent to a fraternity party located off-campus for report of an assault, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities learned two women were sexually assaulted during the party where alcoholic beverages were widely consumed.

Detectives said both victims do not attend the university.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victims were acquainted with the man who reportedly used force and intimidation to commit the assault.

Authorities described the suspect as a male Caucasian student who is believed to be between the ages of 18 and 19-years-old.

It remains unclear if he is a member of the fraternity where the party was held.

The investigation is ongoing.
