Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In Reseda

RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — Crews on Friday worked to repair a water main that has ruptured in Reseda.

According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, a pipe broke just after midnight in the 6500 block of Vanalden Street near Kittridge Street.

Authorities have turned off the water in the area. It remains unclear when officials expect water to be restored to residents.

Meanwhile, crews also worked to make repairs to the pipe and street.

Several cars were flooded and needed to be towed as a result of the break.

At this time, it remains unclear how many customers were affected by the incident.
