Crews Work To Repair 36-Inch Water Main Break In Lake View Terrace

LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — Crews Thursday worked to repair a water main that has ruptured in Lake View Terrace.

A 36-inch pipe ruptured around 3:30 a.m. in the area of Paxton and Foothill boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

At this time, it remains unclear how many residents have been affected.

The water main break has caused major flooding in the area, officials said.

Water service restoration is expected to return at 5 p.m. today.
