Crews Work To Repair Broken Water Main In Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — Crews worked to repair a 10-inch water main Monday that burst in a parking lot in Costa Mesa.

According to the Costa Mesa Fire Department, authorities noticed a moderate amount of water coming out of the South Coast Plaza while returning from another call.

Upon their arrival, authorities located South Coast security and maintenance along with the Mesa Consolidated Water District.

Firefighters said an irrigation valve or a pipe that supplies water to the mall burst.

The building did not sustain flooding damage.
