Crews Tackle Blaze At Irwindale Auto & Truck Repair Shop

IRWINDALE (CBSLA.com) — Crews were on the scene of a commercial fire Saturday that was burning through the roof of an auto body shop.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire broke out in the Irwindale Auto & Truck Repair building just after 6:30 p.m. in the 16300 block of East Arrow Highway.

A strong police and fire presence could be seen from overhead. Officials reported heavy smoke and flames protruding through the roof of the building.

It was unclear if anyone was inside when the fire broke out. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
