Crews Knock Down Brush Fire In Calabasas After Flames Spread From Vehicle

CALABASAS (CBSLA.com) — Malibu and County Fire crews have knocked down a brush fire that spread from a vehicle in Calabasas.

Personnel were called to the scene of Mulholland Highway and Canyon Drive at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesperson told CBS2/KCAL9 flames ignited after a vehicle crash spread to the brush.

L.A. County Fire reported the 100-foot-by-20-foot blaze was extinguished by 7:42 p.m.
