Crews Contain Blaze Within Fairfax District Duplex

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Crews were on the scene of a residential fire Friday that erupted in a single family home located in the Fairfax District.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, crews were sent around 5:45 a.m. to a duplex located in the 800 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue.

Firefighters explained the house was under construction.

It was unclear if anyone was inside the home when the fire erupted.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
