Crews Knock Down 2-Alarm Structure Fire In Huntington Park

HUNTINGTON PARK (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles County Fire crews have knocked down a two-alarm structure fire in Huntington Park.

SKY2's Stu Mundel reports the commercial fire broke out just after 5 p.m. Thursday in the 8100 block of Marbrisa Avenue.

Part of the structure, which housed a wooden pallet storage business, collapsed and several vehicles were involved.

Supervising dispatcher Melanie Flores said the knockdown was achieved by 8:10 p.m., although a damage estimate was not yet available.

L.A. City Fire assisted at the scene.

The cause of the fire was unknown at press time.

No injuries were reported.
