BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com)  —  Thursday's historic Supreme Court ruling had many same-sex couples euphoric.

For one couple who has been together for more than a decade, they felt like there was no time like the present to make things legal.

Natalie Novoa and Eddie Daniels have been together for 11 years but this morning after the Supreme Court's ruling they told KCAL9's Brittney Hopper they this was the day to be wed.

Natalie looked at Eddie and said, "Let's get married."

"It's a historical day. It's amazing. A moment in history and we feel very very lucky," said Eddie, who wore the veil.

The two went down to the Beverly Hills courthouse to exchange their I do's.

"Today was so historical that we thought let's do it today. Because today is going to be worth so much more, "said Natalie, wearing a cap that said "I Love My Wife."

The two say that not only are they celebrating as newlyweds but also celebrating any couple that is now able to get married.

Since the two got married on a whim they told Hopper they're planning to have a reception with family and friends very soon.
