Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders To Wrap Up California Presidential Primary Campaigns

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will end their California presidential primary campaigns Monday.

Clinton is set to speak around 4:00 p.m. at a rally at Long Beach City College. She will later attend a concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Sanders will be in the Bay Area to attend a get-out-the-vote concert in his honor. He will end the evening by attending a concert at San Francisco's Crissy Field.

Clinton needs fewer than 70 delegates to clinch her party's nomination, which could occur before the polls close in California Tuesday.

Sanders is counting on a California win to keep his candidacy alive heading into July's Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made no Southern California appearances during the weekend and will make no appearances today.
