The train -- Santa Fe 3751 -- rolled into Union Station from Amtrak's 8th Street Yard late Tuesday night, the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society said on Facebook.

The train was built in 1927 and will be on display at the end of Track 15 Wednesday and Thursday as part of the 2016 California Passenger Rail Summit, the group said in a press release.

The summit includes panels and other meetings for railroad executives. But the train is available for viewing to the general public.
