Chrome Extension 'Force Block' Works To Prevent 'Star Wars' Spoilers

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" finally premiered in Hollywood, but won't officially be released until Thursday night.

How then does one avoid the spoilers that are sure to surface over the Internet?

"Force Block," which is a Google Chrome extension, offers users the ability to block pages containing spoilers.

The extension searches pages the user is about to visit. If it finds a possible spoiler, it will then issue a warning.

The warning includes a "Star Wars"-themed quote and provides the user the ability to "continue anyway."
