Chone Figgins Hits DL With Injured Quad Strain

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - Dodgers utility player Chone Figgins will be placed on the 15-day disable list with an injured quad strain.

Figgins, who's posted a .373 on-base percentage in 38 games, was hitting .217/.373/.267 with 76 appearances before hitting the DL.

The Dodgers will bring up infielder Carlos Triunful from Triple-A Albuquerque, where he's been hitting .212/.253/.263 with six doubles.

This will be the second MLB-stint with the Dodgers but still hasn't played.

Dodger will close out the series against Arizona then begin a three-game series at home against the Rockies.
