Chase Of DUI Suspect Ends In Deadly Crash In North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said Thursday that a brief chase of a DUI suspect ended in a deadly crash in North Hollywood.

Sky9 was over the scene moments after the unidentified motorist crashed into a truck near Magnolia Boulevard and Satsuma Avenue.

Police said they were chasing the suspect for only three minutes when he crashed.

The DUI suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

The LAPD later confirmed the man was driving under the influence.
