Celebrity Fitness Trainer Pleads No Contest To Reckless Driving In DUI Arrest

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — Celebrity fitness trainer Jackie Warner pleaded no contest Wednesday to a reckless-driving charge from a DUI arrest in February.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced that Warner, AKA Jacqueline Renee Waddell, 48, of West Hollywood, entered the plea to one misdemeanor count of alcohol-related reckless driving.

Warner was immediately sentenced to two years summary probation and ordered to complete a 12-hour drinking and driving program. The defendant also was given an advisement that states if she drives under the influence and a person is killed, she could be charged with murder.

The hard-bodied trainer is most-known for the Hollywood fitness show "Work Out" (2006-2008) and "Thintervention" on Bravo, as well as talk-show appearances, fitness books, lectures and DVDs.

Waddell crashed into an electrical pole near Holloway Drive and Hacienda Place in West Hollywood on Feb. 24, the D.A. said. She then drove to a nearby convenience store, where she struck the patrol car of a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy attempting to detain her, prosecutors added.
