LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Celebrities and fans worldwide reacted to the death of the pop icon Prince.
Prince passed away Thursday at the age of 57.

"Prince was like Michael Jackson when Michael was a kid. Small in stature, but a giant On stage," said William King of the Commodores in a statement.
"The meaning of the word loss has taken on new meaning this day. Thank God, love lives Forever," said his close friend and collaborator Sheila E., also his one time fiancee.
"I absolutely have no words at this moment and am in deep shock. This is a devastating loss not just for myself, but for all who loved him," said protege, musician Judith Hill.
