CBS Offers Digital Subscription Service To Consumers
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — CBS Thursday announced the launch of CBS All Access, a new digital subscription video on demand live streaming service for the CBS Television Network.
CBS All Access offers subscribers thousands of episodes from the current season, previous seasons and classic shows on demand, as well as the ability to stream local CBS Television stations live in 14 of the largest U.S. markets at launch.
The product, which launched online and on mobile devices through the CBS App for iOS and Android, is available immediately at a cost of $5.99 per month.
Classic shows featured in CBS ALL Access include Star Trek, Cheers, MacGyver, Twin Peaks and CSI: Miami, as well as exclusive additional content like The GRAMMY Awards, The Academy of Country Music Awards and The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Users will also be able to stream live feeds of Big Brother around-the-clock for no additional fee when the show returns in the summer of 2015.
