CBS Leads Nominations For 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  CBS garnered 60 nominations in the 41st annual Daytime Emmys race, the most of any network.

"The Young and the Restless," afternoon TV's number one soap, lead the daytime drama pack with 26 nominations, more than any other program.

"Y&R's" sister show, "The Bold and the Beautiful," also had an impressive showing with 18 nods.

"The Talk," "Let's Make a Deal," and "CBS Sunday Morning With Charles Osgood," all got three nominations.

Other nominations went to "The Price is Right" (two) and "CBS This Morning" (one.)

In addition, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received 18 nominations, THE TALK received five, LET'S MAKE A DEAL and CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD both received three, THE PRICE IS RIGHT received two nominations and CBS THIS MORNING received one. Two shows from the CBS DREAM TEAM! IT'S EPIC! Saturday morning lineup received one nomination each.

Two shows in CBS's new Saturday morning line-up aimed at young adults also got nomination for Outstanding Children's Series ("Game Changers with Kevin Frazier") and Outstanding Special Class Series ("Lucky Dog").

The Outstanding Lead Actor race will see four actors from "Y&R" -- namely Peter Bergman (Jack), Doug Davidson (Paul),  Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael) and Billy Miller (ex-Billy) square off against "General Hospital" star Jason Thompson (Patrick.)
