Caught On Video: Woman Tries To Rob Thousand Oaks Bank

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help to identify a woman who tried to rob a Bank of America branch in Thousand Oaks.

The incident happened at about 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Bank of America branch at 2345 Borchard Road in Newbury Park.

The woman had approached a bank teller with a note, demanding money, police said. The teller walked away from the counter and notified other employees, who activated the bank's alarm system.

The woman left the bank and was believed to have left the area in a dark-colored vehicle.

She was described as a white female with brown eyes, between 20 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-7 with a thin build.
