The incident took place sometime between Sunday night and early Monday morning in the 4700 block of W. Jefferson Street in the Crenshaw district, officials said.

The owner of the vehicle, Vincenzo Marranca, said he woke up to the damage after he spent the night in the building where he rents a space.

Police believe the same suspect has vandalized other vehicles in the area.
