Caught On Camera Only On 2: Former Teacher Convicted Of Killing Wife Has Outburst In Court

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A former Los Angeles Unified School District elementary school teacher convicted of killing his wife had an outburst Monday at a sentencing hearing.

Michael Rodney Kane, 48, was arrested in 2013 and found guilty in March of first-degree murder for the stabbing death of his estranged wife Michelle.

He attacked her in the street outside a West Hills home where she had taken refuge after filing a restraining order.

The sentencing hearing was postponed until May 19.

Kane faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
